The second festival was the first one after the full-scale invasion began, and that changed what it was about. Alongside the usual topics of business, science, education and prototyping came prosthetics, defence projects, and social and professional adaptation for veterans and internally displaced people. Demand for fast manufacturing had grown, and the festival had to happen precisely to speed up the exchange of solutions.
This is also where the Ukrainian chapter of Women in 3D Printing was launched — until then Ukraine simply was not on that international organisation’s map.
Entry required registration for the first time; in 2019 we had simply opened the doors.
