The history of RepRapUA
RepRapUA is Ukraine’s national 3D printing festival. The first one took place in 2019 at the KPI library, and we have run three festivals since: all in Kyiv, in very different halls and in very different times. The fourth is on 19 September 2026.
The format has not changed since the start: show & tell. Manufacturers, workshops, researchers and enthusiasts bring what they have made and talk to the people who care about it. The goal is the same too — to introduce professionals to beginners, and large companies to small workshops.
Three festivals
#1 — 2019
5 October, the KPI science and technology library. Around 30 exhibitors, ten talks, free entry. The first one.

25 March, Kyiv. Around 60 exhibitors and speakers. The first festival after the full-scale invasion began.
See how it went →#3 — 2024
21 September, an aviation university hangar. Around 60 exhibitors, ~900 visitors, and the first research conference.

How the topics changed
The sharpest picture of where Ukrainian 3D printing was heading is the list of fields we put in the announcement each year.
- 2019 — entertainment, everyday life, business, science, education.
- 2023 — all of the above plus prosthetics, women in tech, and social and professional adaptation for veterans and internally displaced people. The wartime context appeared for the first time.
- 2024 — all of the above plus robotics and a dedicated research and development conference.
The fourth one is next
RepRapUA Fest #4 takes place on 19 September 2026. A booth, a talk, volunteering or simply a ticket — it is all here.
